At the 1A individual meet, section team champion Chatfield continued its excellent season by qualifying nine guys for state. LARP and FCLMC each got one entrant. Kingsland (9-seed, 15-8) trailed Houston (8-seed, 16-10) by 13 at intermission and by sixteen early in the second half but rallied for a comeback victory in a 1A Round of 16 play-off contest.
