Trojans Make 1A Semifinals, Fall Agonizingly in Overtime to Goodhue

Rushford-Peterson’s boys made their second straight 1A semifinal. They then fell agonizingly in overtime. For half of the game, Grand Meadow’s girls (3-seed, 23-6) played #3 Hayfield (1-seed, 30-0) about even. It was the other half that didn’t go so well at all. Chatfield boys basketball (7-seed, 16-10) held Zumbrota-Mazeppa (10-seed, 6-20) to just 35 points in notching a Round of 16 playoff win. Lions Hold Knights to 27 in Posting “W”

Trojans Efficiently Beat Schaeffer Academy Rushford-Peterson (20-4) came in the 2-seed in the Section 1A boys tournament and had no problem downing 15-seed Schaeffer Academy (11-16).
