Burro Boys Win Three in Three Days, Get Revenge Versus L-O

Lanesboro boys basketball had a busy three days, as the Burros won home games Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Matt Asleson’s group beat Alden-Conger 65-30. The Class A Spring Grove boys upended previously undefeated Class AA La Crescent-Hokah, but the Lions were not able to derail unbeaten Martin County West, which was ranked #1 by the computer and #4 by the press in Class A. Cal Triad Keeps #2 Warriors Perfect

Caledonia boys basketball stayed perfect on the year, dispatching of two solid TRC squads. They were led by the play of a trio of seniors. Versus Lewiston-Altura (9-2), the Warriors (11-0) overwhelmed a Cardinal team that started the year 9-0. Over a pair of nights, a trio of good AA girls basketball teams with at least 11 wins went at it, as Caledonia (11-5) hosted #2 Goodhue (13-1) and Chatfield (11-4). Warrior B-Ball Teams Continue to Roll

Caledonia/Houston, Chatfield, and Goodhue wrestling teams are hoping to be big factors in Section 1A.
