Trojans/Gopher VB Cap Week
Capping the volleyball action was the best match of the week. Chatfield went to R-P and had the Trojans on the ropes. Maybe spurred by their energetic student section, team green found a “W.” The Gophers led most of the first two sets, but had to battle at the end of each to win. Game one saw six late ties. Rushford-Peterson approves health assessment in lieu of school nurse
At the August R-P School Board meeting, it was brought forth by Superintendent Chuck Ehler the consideration of a school nurse for the new school facility. Wabasha always hosts a late September volleyball tournament. Fillmore Central, Kingsland, and Rushford-Peterson were among this year’s entrants.
