Football: #2 Warriors Survive D-E Trap, Await #3 Chatfield

It was the definition of a trap game. Class AA #2-ranked Caledonia (3-0, 4-0) entered its week five matchup with Dover-Eyota (0-2, 2-2) coming off a huge win over #5 Cannon Falls in week four. Volleyball: Gophers Hand “Losses” to “L” Teams

Chatfield volleyball’s week featured games against teams in the TRC starting with “L.” The Gophers promptly handed both losses. In a non-conference affair, the Gophers swept Lewiston-Altura on the road (25-15, 25-20, 25-20). Football: #3 Gophers Dominate to 5-0 Ahead of Caledonia Game

Chatfield did not let off the gas pedal on a dominant season thus far in trouncing their fifth opponent in five tries. South-East Football (9/29) Grand Meadow 14, Southland 33 (GM: Corbin Ludemann 15-91, 2 TDs rushing; Dalton Pischke 8-50 rushing. Southland (3-2, 4-2) led 28-6 at the half and 33-14 after three. For a third time this year, seniors Chase Christianson and Jayce Kiehne hooked up for multiple TD passes in a game, and for a fifth time this year, #3 in Class A Fillmore Central posted a win.
