Lion boys’ defense hobbles Burros twice in one week

The Spring Grove boys remained atop the SEC East Division while dealing two devastating blows to Lanesboro title hopes in one week. Spring Grove girls out-run, out-rebounded by Lanesboro – twice

The fifth-place Spring Grove girls could not come close to third-place Lanesboro in two attempts last week. In a 21-point home loss (66-45), the young Lions were competitive for most of the first half. But it was a Burro blowout from the beginning of the 15-point, road rematch (53-38). Cal/SG gymnasts host triangular with Lancers, Bears

Caledonia/Spring Grove gymnasts (0-4) finished third while hosting a conference triangular with Byron (129.500) and La Crescent-Hokah (123.825). The Warriors' team score (107.175) slipped from their first two meets. However, there was improvement on the balance beam with a team total of 25.225. Cal/SG gymnasts challenged by snow and PI/ZM

With a snow postponement in between, the Caledonia/Spring Grove gymnastics team has competed against Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa in both meets thus far.
