Spring Grove Welcomes New School Board Member and K-12 Principal

President Stephanie Jaster called the Spring Grove School Board meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. on June 16. No Electric Buses for Lanesboro

Superintendent Matt Schultz informed the Lanesboro School Board that the Federal Electric Bus Grant they had been awarded was cancelled. The school will need to lease a diesel bus for next year. The bus price has gone up $21,000 and will be subject to an additional $7,000 tariff. At the June 5 Houston School Board meeting, Superintendent Mary Morem lauded the three student speakers for the recent graduation ceremonies at MNVA and the three student speakers at Houston High School. Kingsland School Board Looks Toward Future After Referendum Fails

On Monday, May 19, the Kingsland School Board began their night with a special meeting to review the resolution canvassing the return of votes for the May 12 referendum vote. Chatfield School District used their new press box for the first time this year at a track meet on April 24, 2025.  The new building has storage area in the bottom level and two more levels that will be used by CCTV, Chatfield coaches, timers, announcers and visiting team personnel. The Mabel-Canton School Board held its regular meeting on May 20 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 50, Mrs. Peter’s science classroom.
