Art teacher Ann Sparks was presented with a plaque recognizing her years of service to Fillmore Central at the April 25 school board meeting. Sparks is retiring after 21 years of teaching. At the Monday, April 24 R-P School Board meeting, concerned parent Steve Highum brought concerns from the parents of baseball team members to light. The concern stems from heavily reduced game opportunity for the junior varsity squad. County discusses state auditor’s assessment

Fillmore County’s audit for 2015 was conducted by Eide Bailly LLP. Over a quarter of Minnesota counties hired a private firm to do their audit in 2015.
