Fillmore County Journal - Fillmore County Sports - High School Sports - Wrestling

LARP 39, D-E 37 (Each team won seven matches.  Six of LARPs wins were six-pointers.  Screaming Eagles won six of eight matches between 120 and 170 to build an insurmountable 39-13 lead.  They won 120 and 145 by forfeit, but forfeited 182, 195, 220, and 285.  Ross Herber (106), Reece Riebel (138), Sam Puetz (160), and Noah Herber (170) had pins.  Sam Schwendinger (126) won a 5-2 decision via tie-breaker-1)

Robbinsdale Cooper “Hawk” Invite (FCLMC took fifth (of ten).  S. Nikoloski (5-0 D, pin, pin) won 220.  Caden Anderson (pin, 7-4 D) won 120.   He is 11-4.  Cale Anderson (fall, lost 6-3 D, fall, 4-0 D) took third at 113.  He is 17-10) 

Z-M Duals > LARP 39, Caledonia/Houston 36 (Screaming Eagles jumped out 24-0 and 33-3.  The Warriors then won five straight matches to close to down 33-30.  Alex Perez’s forfeit win at 220 to clinched the win for LARP.   S-Eagles also took 126 by forfeit while forfeiting 152 and 285.  R. Herber (106), Carter Jonsgaard (113), Caleb Mueller (120), and Dominic Jenkins (145) had pins.  R. Riebel (138) won a 9-4 decision) > LARP 9, Owatonna 58 (Ethan Sense (182) won via pin, D. Jenkins (145) via 9-2 decision) > LARP 6, Z-M 43 (R. Herber (106) had the sole LARP win by pin)
