Opening A New Home
Rushford-Peterson opened a new school and thus a new gymnasium. The first official varsity game at the new venue was a win. R-P volleyball beat L-A in four sets; 25-22, 25-22, 22-25, 25-15. The high school football season begins with what is the new normal per the district format; changes. Rushford addresses hilltop subdivision problems
At the Monday, July 24 meeting, the Rushford City Council reviewed a preliminary analysis for possible acquisition of two residential properties on Lamplighter’s Lane. The steeply sloped road was initially designed in the late ‘70s to lead to a four-home subdivision overlooking the city on the bluff east of Rushford. Monday, July 17 the Rushford-Peterson School Board held their last board meeting in what will soon be a vacant building.
