Section Realignment Affects Area Teams

The Minnesota State High School League has issued its new section alignment for the 2025-2026 season, based off new enrollments for the involved schools. There are quite a few changes. GMLOKS’ track and field teams each easily won the eight-team Medford Meet. Bently Wiersma notably won the Long Jump and Triple Jump for the boys. The girls have now won three straight outdoor full meets while the boys have won two of those events. Chatfield girls track and field won the seven-team Lewiston-Altura Meet. Falcons Top D-E and PEM, End TRC Streak Last year was a tough one for Fillmore Central/Lanesboro baseball. They took on the season with essentially a junior varsity and the result was a winless TRC campaign and a 1-20 overall record. Those things will not happen this year.
