Caledonia softball, ranked #5, fell 2-1 versus Section 1AA rival St. Charles, though Avery Augedahl pitched a two-hitter. The Warriors rallied by beating W-K 10-0 in five innings, as Paizley Lange hit two home runs and had five RBIs. Augedahl again pitched a two-hitter, improving to 6-1 on the year. The Warriors (5-1, 6-1) lead the TRC-East over Cotter/HL (2-1, 3-2). Aspen Peterson went 4-for-4 as Houston softball avenged a loss from last year, beating Goodhue 15-9. The Hurricanes (4-1, 7-2) trail Southland (4-0, 5-1) in the SEC. Jack Brogle shot a 38, as Lanesboro’s boys topped an incomplete G-E team. Brogle has been sub-40 at all three Burro golf meets this year. Chatfield’s Carson Harstad shot a 43 to pace a 21-man field at the four-team Kasson-Mantorville tourney. Lanesboro 8th grader Addison McCabe tied for fifth (of 43 golfer) at the Stewartville Tourney, as she shot an 18-hole 85. Senior Myleigh Scheevel medaled (44, 46) as FC girls golf beat RP 191 to 231 and an incomplete La Crescent/Hokah squad.
