Chatfield Certifies Final Tax Levy for 2025
City Administrator Michele Peterson presented Truth in Taxation information during a hearing at the city council’s December 9 meeting. Peterson listed guiding principles which include maintaining a steady, predictable tax rate at around 90% which has been achieved. Chatfield’s Public Safety Funding for Police and Fire Equipment
At the November 25 Chatfield City Council meeting, approval was granted for use of some of the one-time public safety funding.
