Fountain Lacks for Council Issues

January 8, 2024 by Kirsten Zoellner

Fountain Councilor Jordan Kearns and City Clerk Mary Tjepkes at the January 3 Fountain Council meeting.
The first meeting of 2024 for the Fountain City Council was the shortest meeting on record, just a minute and 10 seconds on January 3, due to the absence of Mayor Tammy Danielson and a surprisingly short agenda.
Opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, the attending council proceeded with the agenda, which included the consent agenda only. In it were the minutes from the December 6 meeting and the December financials as presented. With no discussion, the council, led by Acting Mayor Dave Gudmundson, unanimously approved both.
The next regularly scheduled meeting is at city hall on Wednesday, February 7, at 7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
