On August 10, Kajuan Valentino Parker, 37 of Spring Valley, appeared before District Court Judge Matthew J. Opat. Parker is charged with Domestic Assault – Intentionally Inflict or Attempt to Inflict Bodily Harm Upon Another, a felony with a maximum criminal penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both. On or about July 19, a Fillmore County deputy was dispatched to a residence in Spring Valley. A women was allegedly assaulted (slapped and arm ‘snaked’) by the defendant amidst a domestic dispute. Parker has two prior felony domestic assault convictions out of Olmsted County and a gross misdemeanor malicious punishment of a child conviction out of Fillmore County.
