Wrestling: Gophers Dominate Wolves’ Holiday Tourney
Entering the tourney #1 in Class A and with seven ranked wrestlers, it was no surprise Chatfield dominated FCLMC’s annual holiday wrestling tourney. It is their best start in many years. LARP wrestling swept a triangular at Lake City and they are now 7-0 on the year. They downed the host Tigers, 54-15. Lanesboro girls basketball pulled a tough feat. The Burros won back-to-back-to-back games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in succession. Basketball teams from Spring Grove had a good week. The girls posted two wins to get off to a great start to the season while the boys opened with a couple of “W”s. In a key early SEC girls game, Houston and defending West champion Grand Meadow did battle.
