In a high school softball game, seventeen runs are not unheard of, but it is a lot. Thirty-one runs in a high school baseball game are a category five deluge. Chatfield’s golf teams each won or shared TRC-West titles a year ago. In their first two meets this year, Gopher swingers are again putting up low numbers. Chatfield’s Brynn Horsman slides safely into third base

After a season opening loss to W-K, Chatfield softball rallied with a four-win week that included two TRC triumphs and two wins at the Lake City Tourney. Baseball can be simple. If your pitcher dominates the other team’s line-up, your chances of victory are high. Caledonia baseball rode its pitching staff to a three-win week.
