Boys Basketball:Warriors Top Trojans and Hermantown, King Records 200th Win  Basketball boys powerhouses Rushford-Peterson and Caledonia went at it and their first of two series on the year. Wrestling: LARP Stuns #2 Chatfield, Goes 4-0 at Spamtown Duals The scores of their last four matches were 57-15, 58-11, 58-9, and 68-3; Chatfield had its way with LARP wrestling. Carson Harstad scored 28 points as Chatfield beat W-K 65-55, and 36 points in a 77-67 loss to Lanesboro. Five Burros made double figures in said game, as Lanesboro won the second half 50-35. Lyric Stadtler scored 22 points as Spring Grove beat LeRoy-Ostrander 81-51. Cardinal Reid Hungerholt had 27 points in defeat. The wrestling season starts with all five Journal-covered programs returning state entrants. Girls wrestling continues to grow, as the post-season individual tournament will now be eight section tournaments versus combining two sections for a super-section. Rushford- Peterson Voters Will Decide Building Question

At the November 17 Rushford-Peterson School Board meeting, the board approved in a 5 to 1 vote to call for a vote on the proposed building referendum. The decision followed a lengthy discussion by the board with each member explaining their thinking before voting. Cross Country: LARPH Boys Win First Class A State Title, LFC’s Rakosnik Takes 11th

There is no question.  Section 1A was the best at the State Class A boys meet at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights.   The top two teams and top three individuals were from the section.  Heading the cast are the state champion team from Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson/Houston.
