Spring Grove (8-0, 13-1) was the area 9-Man headliner, as the Lions made it all the way to the state championship game. 2022-2023 Wrestling Preview
Last season was again a strong year on the wrestling mats. Chatfield was one win away from the 1A title, and finished as section runner-up (15-2). They sent four guys to state. Spring Grove girls cannot keep up with Grand Meadow
Both the Spring Grove girls and Grand Meadow started slowly with turnovers and cold shooting. Both then began to take better care of the ball, but only Grand Meadow (3-0, 3-0 SEC) began to knock down shots and get to the free throw line.
