(B) PEM 0, Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston 1 (The game did not resume after halftime due to lightning. Warrior Jacob Hernandez scored the lone goal assisted by Will Hahn. The Warriors then held off a determined Bulldog reply, especially with defense from goal keeper Jackson Moen. It was Cal/SG/Hou’s first win)
(G) Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston 2, PEM 4 (Losiah Gay scored both Warrior goals before halftime, first beating two defenders after a crossing pass from Macy Kraus. “Losiah basically threw her whole body into the goal to get it,” said coach Chris Jandt. “It really showed how aggressive she has been to start the season to get her first varsity goal that way.” Then Siri Konkel assisted as Gay made it 2-0, placing the ball into the side net. The Bulldogs tied the score just seven minutes into the second half, took the lead in the 59th minute, and added the insurance goal in the 78th. Goalkeeper Josie Foster (16 saves) “had a great game,” added Jandt, “taking away multiple goals and keeping us in the game.”)
(B) Caledonia 0, La Crescent/Hokah 9 (Several Warriors sustained injuries. The Lancers built on a 3-0 halftime lead)
(G) La Crescent/Hokah 2, Caledonia 1 (An evenly-played game was scoreless going into halftime. “The passing has improved greatly since last year and it showed,” said Coach Jandt. The Lancers went ahead and three minutes later made it 2-0. In the 77th minute (90-minute game), Siri Konkel scored for the Warriors with a free kick from 30 yards out, hitting just under the crossbar. Despite the loss, Jandt was encouraged as every game shows improvement for a team starting two seniors, two juniors, five sophomores and two freshmen. Cal/SG/Hou > 0-3, 0-3)
(B) Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston 1, Coulee Christian 6 (The game was scoreless until Coulee was able to exploit a weakness that led to four quick goals before halftime. “We came back in the second half with some changes in our lineup that the team did really well with,” said assistant coach Andrew Marschall, “which fixed the issue and eventually opened up an opportunity for Landon O’Heron to score.” Cal/SG/Hou > 1-2, 1-4)
