Conner Porter draws the foul and makes the layup, getting the “and one” free throw. Houston opened their season with a nail-biter. Hosting Glenville Emmons, the Hurricanes kept a good lead through the first half, however they would lose the lead in the second. After a few clutch three pointers and a layup to seal the deal, the Hurricanes would beat the Wolverines, 57-55. The Hurricanes won their second game too, versus GM. Houston had just one win last season.
