Cotter 47, #8 in A Rushford-Peterson 69 (R-P: J. Ruberg 19 pts, 10 rebs; Andrew Hoiness 13 pts (4-6 FGs, 3-4 FTs), 5 asts, 5 stls; Grady Hengel 10 pts (4-5 FGs); Logan Skalet 8 pts.  R-P hit 14 of 19 free throws (74%)) 

Chatfield 68, Lewiston-Altura 81 (C: Drew Schindler 18 pts, 4 asts; E. Hopp 12 pts; Drew O’Connor 9 pts (4-5 FGs); Isaac Stevens 9 pts (4-6 FGs); Connor Jax 8 pts (5-6 FTs).  L-A: Collin Bonow 33 pts (18-22 FTs), 8 rebs.  FTs: C 16 of 21 (76%), L-A 27 of 33 (82%). The 81 points was second most given up by Gophers this year (Caledonia))  

#1 in A Caledonia 78, La Crescent/Hokah 59 (C: Chris Pieper 17 pts; Ja’Shon Simpson 16 pts; Eli King 15 pts (three threes); Jackson Koepke 14 pts (four threes).  Halftime lead was just 36-30.  Teams combined for 19 threes)

Southeast Conference

Grand Meadow 82, Glenville-Emmons 45 (GM: R. Warmka 22 pts (9-16 FGs), 5 rebs; Jace Kraft 16 pts (4-6 FTs), 10 rebs, 5 asts; Connor Munson 12 pts (5-8 FGs), 6 rebs; T. Glynn 11 pts, 6 rebs, 5 asts; Caleb George 10 pts, 6 rebs, 4 stls.  Larks scored 53 in first half, won fourth straight game to get above .500 at 5-5, 9-8)

Kingsland 39, LeRoy-Ostrander 71 (L-O: L. Royston 22 pts (8-14 FGs, 4-4 FTs), 13 rebs, 6 asts; T. Olson 18 pts, 11 rebs, 5 asts; Gavin Sweeney 9 pts, 8 rebs; Chase Johnson 9 pts.  K: J. Brink 9 pts (3-8 threes); Nick Eickhoff 9 pts (3-6 threes).  Cardinals out-scored Knights 40-14 in second half, expanding 31-25 halftime lead.  Knights > 3-6, 6-12)

Schaeffer Academy 50, Houston 32 (H: Carter Geiwitz 13 pts; Tanner Kubitz 8 pts, 10 rebs.  Hurricanes trailed just 18-15 at halftime, but lost at the free throw line 19 of 26 (73%) to 7 of 11 (64%).  Houston > 1-7, 1-16)

Lyle/Pacelli 71, Grand Meadow 61 (GM: T. Glynn 24 pts (10-17 FGs), 8 asts; R. Warmka 16 pts (3-5 threes), 9 rebs; J. Kraft 8 pts, 5 rebs.  LP: Buay Koak 29 pts.  Larks trailed 40-30 at half, got within three late (64-61) but L/P scored final six points.  FGs: GM 24 of 56 (43%), L/P 30 of 52 (58%).  GM’s four-game win streak ended.  Larks > 5-6, 9-9)

Non-Conference

Lanesboro 44, Southland 61 (L: M. Howard 15 pts (5-10 threes); Stephan Schultz 11 pts, 5 rebs.  Burros led by single digits most of first half, but gave up a 22-1 run out of halftime to go from down 26-25 to down 47-26.  Rebels won half 35-19.  Burros came in having won six straight.  Rebels are 10-2, 12-3.  They lost to west leader L/P, which Lanesboro beat)

Kubitz 8 pts, 5 rebs; Morgan Rohweder 8 pts.  Falcons hit 10 of 22 threes (46%), the fifth time they’ve drained 10 or more in a game (3-2))

Mabel-Canton 29, #8 in A Rushford-Peterson 74 (R-P: M. Bunke 19 pts (5-10 threes); Dawson Bunke 13 pts (4-7 threes); J. Ruberg 11 pts, 8 rebs; G. Hengel 10 pts, 5 rebs.  Ten Trojans scored, as R-P hit 12 of 29 threes (41%).  M-C > 2-7, 6-13)

St. Charles 62, Lanesboro 72 (L: S. Schultz 18 pts (8-14 FGs); Reece Benson 16 pts (4-6 threes, 4-7 FGs), 6 rebs; J. Prestemon 16 pts, 7 rebs, 7 asts; M. Howard 9 pts; Logan Torgerson 9 pts (4-5 FGs).  TOs: SC 16, L 6).  Burros picked up 10th win)
