Memorial Mass for Ann Storlie will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at St Ignatius Catholic Church in Spring Valley, with Father Marreddy Pothireddy officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Ann Marie Storlie, age 64, of Wykoff, Minn., died surrounded by her family Friday, February 16, 2018, at her home.

She was born July 31, 1953, in Cresco, Iowa, to Lawrence and Marie (Ollendick) Hayes. Ann attended Mabel Canton Schools, graduating in 1971. On November 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to Roger Storlie at Assumption Catholic Church in Canton, Minn. Ann worked for a short time at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester and then worked for Fillmore County DAC for 28 years, until her she was no longer able to work due to her cancer diagnoses and treatment. Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing and canning. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a devoted wife and mother. She was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ann enjoyed volunteering at church, where she also taught Sunday school. She always thought of others before herself. She had a “Heart of Gold.”

Ann is survived by her husband Roger of Wykoff, her children: Patricia (Derick) McGinily of Newhey, UK, Crystal (Derek) Reddel of Riceville, Iowa, Matthew (Elizabeth) Storlie of Preston, Minn., Mark (Shelly Powers) Storlie of Wykoff, Minn., and  Ryan (Heather Dale) Storlie Spring Valley, Minn.; grandchildren: Victoria “Tori,” Victoria, Nicholas, Josie, Jerome, Kaden, Ira, Evelyn and Jaxon; siblings: Katherine Thillen of Wabasha, Minn., Dale (Barbara) Hayes, of Rochester, Minn., Linda Bolin of LeRoy, Minn., Mary (Kenneth) Peters of Rochester, Minn., Robert (Julie) Hayes of Fountain Inn, S.  C., Virginia (Carl) Ernst and Alan (Stacey) Hayes, both of Canton, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Hayes of Moorhead, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Hayes, and brothers-in-law John Thillen, Darrell Storlie and Gordon Storlie; a nephew William Storlie and her inlaws, Irving and Roby Storlie.
