It is their best start in many years. LARP wrestling swept a triangular at Lake City and they are now 7-0 on the year. They downed the host Tigers, 54-15. Christian Zibrowski (114), Carter Bronk (127), Colten Jenkins (133), Jordan Zibrowski (139), Quintin Betthauser (145), Carter Cady (160), and Zach Plank (189) had pins. Titan Tekautz (152) won by forfeit. Owen Lange (121) and Camdyn Anderson-Ingram (172) had the toughest nights, posting 8-3 and 5-3 in overtime decision wins respectively. LARP also beat Pine Island 36-30. The match was tied 15-15 after 138, but LARP won four of the next five for a 21-3 run and a 36-18 lead heading to 215. Zach Plank’s pin at 189 clinched the dual. The Panthers won the last two weights by pin. Owen Lange (121) and Betthauser (145) also had pins for the Eagles. Tekautz (152) again won by forfeit. C-Zibrowski (141) got the five-point 16-1 tech fall. Jenkins (133) won a 10-1 major decision. Anderson-Ingram again fought to a narrow decision win, this time 3-2. The Screamin’ Eagles other five wins were at the Austin Duals on December 2, over Lakeville-South (31-28), Norwood-Young America (39-36), Austin (51-21), FCLMC (57-18), and Pipestone (43-27).
