As the ref watches diligently, LARP’s Jordan Zibrowski has Z-M’s Ryan Stimets in all sorts of trouble in the 126-pound finals of the FCLMC Holiday Wrestling Tourney. Zibrowski won the match, as he was the Screamin’ Eagles only champion of the day.

FCLMC Triangular > FCLMC 48, Triton 30 (Wolves took 113 (Clayton Knutson), 120 (Rhoda Swartzentruber), and 132 (Jeremiah Bushman) by forfeit. Kane Larson (106), Orion Sass (170), Oliver Hoeltzle (182), and Bodey Wright (195) won by fall. Kyle Daniels (138 > 4-2) and Boston Wright (145 > 9-5) won by decision. Wolves built leads of 30-6 after 145 and 42-18 after 195. FCLMC won six of 11 wrestled matches); FCLMC 66, Riceville 18 (Wolves took 106 (Larson), 113 (Knutson), 126 (Rowan Lieb), 132 (Bushman), 145 (Bos. Wright), 152 (Carter Hovland), 195 (Bod. Wright), and 220 (Aaron Hutton) by forfeit. Daniels (138), Sass (170), and Hoeltlze (182) won by fall, as the Wolves won three of five wrestles matches. They improved to 1-0, 3-1)

LARP Triangular > Caledonia/Houston 44, LARP 34 (LARP won first two bouts to lead 10-0, but Warriors took 120 through 152, all by six-point decisions, to lead 36-10. Cal/Hou major decision wins at 182 and 195 cemented the victory. Simon Seymour (120), Brandon Ross (126), Owen Denstad (132), Isaac Blocker (138), and Cory Scanlan (152) had pins for Cal/Hou, Tucker Ginther (145) won by forfeit, Eric Mauss (182 > 9-1) and Ayden Goetzinger (195 > 14-2) won by major decision. Aaron Prinsen (160), Brennan Corcoran (170), and Jacob Meyer (220) won by fall for LARP, Spencer Nelson (106) and Brock Frisch (285) by forfeit, and Tyler Kreidermacher (113) by 11-0 major decision); Caledonia/Houston 61, Rochester-Century 12 ( Seymour (120), Ross (126), Denstad (132), Blocker (138), Lyle Myhre (145), and Alec Weinbender (170) won by forfeit, Braxton Lange (113), Ginther (152), and Scanlan (160) won by pin, Mauss (182) by 13-4 major decision, and Goetzinger (195) by 3-2 decision); Rochester-Century 0, LARP 69 (Nelson (106), Colten Jenkins (120), Jordan Zibrowski (126), Quintin Betthauser (132), Jensen (138), and Corcoran (170) won by forfeit, Kreiedermacher (113), Wyatt Laumb (152), Prinsen (160), and Tyler Kryzer (182) won by pin, Camdyn Anderson (195 > 4-2), Meyer (220 > 8-6), and Frisch (285 > 6-4 in SV-1) won by decision. Screamin’ Eagles are 0-1, 2-2)

GMLOS’ Cohen Wiste looks to maneuver Z-M’s Ben Murray into a position to score back points in the 138-pound final of the FCLMC Holiday Wrestling Tournament. Wiste beat Murray by 8-4 decision to win his second tournament of the year.

Triton Triangular > #7 in A GMLOS 46, Triton 36 (GMLOS won the first eight matches of the night to lead 46-0. Cobras took the last six matches. GMLOS took forfeits at 106 (Cole Sheely), 113 (Teague Alden), 120 (Timmy Hogfeldt), and 132 (Aiden Quintana). James Jacobsen (132), Cohen Wiste (138) and Donavon Felten (145) won by pin. Braxton Wiste (152) won an 11-2 major decision. GMLOS forfeited 220); #7 in A GMLOS 30, Kenyon-Wanamingo 54 (Knights won first three matches to lead 18-0 only for GMLOS to win the next three to make it 18-18. The Bulldogs took 145 to lead 24-18, but won just one more match. They forfeited 170 and 195, while winning by forfeit at 220 (Rowan Sween). All 11 wrestled matches were decided by pin. Jacobsen (126), Quintana (132), C-Wiste (138), and Felten (145) had pins for Bulldogs.  GMLOS is 0-0, 3-2)

GMLOS’ Lucca Sween tries to cinch up a cradle on Z-M’s Tucker Buck in the 220-pound final of the FCLMC Holiday wrestling Tournament. Sween pinned Buck, becoming the third Bulldog champion of the day, joining Cohen Wiste and Donavon Felten.
