Rogers Holiday Matness (GMLOS (65) took 14th out of 30 total teams including many AA and AAA schools.  St. Michael-Albertville, the AAA #1-ranked school, took first (241) over AA #3 Becker (187), AAA #5 Anoka (177), and AAA #9 Apple Valley (154.5).  At least 10 teams in the top 10, or classified as Lean Mean, in Classes A, AA, or AAA, competed.  Cohen Wiste (#6 at 138) and Donavon Felten (#5 at 160, wrestled 145) each went 3-2 to take fourth.  Each lost in the semifinals.  Wiste’s losses were to AAA #4 Carter Ban of Anoka (9-0 major decision) and AAA #7 at 132 Cooper Larson of Blaine (5-1 decision).  Felten fell to Anoka’s AAA #3 Brendan Howes in the semis (pin) and then to Blaine’s AAA #2 at 138-pounds Luke Studer (6-4 decision in SV-1).  Each lost their first matches of the year.  Felten is 11-2, Wiste 14-2.  Christian Luthe went 3-3 to take sixth.  He won three straight matches in the consolation bracket.  Braxton Wiste (152) went 2-3 and took eighth)
