Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson wrestling continued its foray into the recent world of undefeatedness via a quadrangular sweep at GMLOS which also included Caledonia/Houston and Westfield. Tim Tekautz and Darrin Hegland’s group has just one ranked wrestler (#9 at 107 Christian Zibrowski), but they are physically stacked enough up and down the line-up that no team has beat them. Caledonia/Houston took a swing in the quad’s opening dual. LARP never trailed until Anthony VanArx pinned Avery Kammerer (215) to make it 33-29 Warriors. It was the last of three straight wins for Cal/Hou, annulling a 29-18 deficit after 160. But at heavyweight, Jaden Perez used his size to pin up-a-weight Logan Kinstler, and the Screamin’ Eagles had the win, 35-33. C-Zibrowski (107), Owen Lange (121), Josh Happel (127), and Jordan Zibrowski (139) also had pins for LARP. Camdyn Anderson-Ingram (160) won a 16-1 tech fall.
