Floodwood Tourney (Mabel-Canton, ranked #4 in Class A, beat East Central 2-0 (25-8, 25-14), Northome-Kelliher 2-0 (25-4, 25-12), and Lake of the Woods 2-0 (25-12, 25-16) in pool play to go 3-0. They then beat Pine River-Backus 2-0 (25-18, 25-12) in the tourney semifinals and #8 in Class A Floodwood 2-0 (25-18, 25-15) to win the tourney title. Cougars tourney leaders: Kinley Soiney (62 kills on .505 hitting, 33 digs, 12 total blks), Braylee Stortz (22 kills, 37 digs, 8 aces), Gwen Rein (99 assists, 32 digs, 6 aces), Lauren Burke (29 digs), Ella Halverson (22 kills). #2 in AA Chatfield 1, #3 in AA Southwest Christian 3 > 25-19, 18-25, 17-25, 19-25 (C: C. Bicknese 15 kills, 13 digs, 5 aces; Trindy Barkeim 8 kills, 8 digs; Harper Goldsmith 3 kills, 24 assists, 16 digs, 21-25 serving, 4 aces; Hannah Tweten 10 digs; Amaya Harmening 6 kills. Pine Island Tourney (Grand Meadow went 3-1, beating Randolph 2-0 (25-18, 25-13), Rochester-Lourdes 2-0 (25-21, 25-19), and Lake City 2-1 (26-24, 13-25, 15-10) while losing to Pine Island 0-2 (24-26, 22-25). Larks > 1-0, 4-1)
