PEM Meet (LFCMC’s girls took third (87) behind Lake City (108) and La Crescent/Hokah (99). The boys took third (86) behind Zumbrota-Mazeppa (122) and PEM (117). LFCMC boys’ firsts: Greg Kennedy (200 > 24.62, High Jump -tie > 5’6”) and the 4×800 (9:14.29 > Maddox Rindels, Jaxon Huntington, Riley Grant, Landon Sethre). Brody Niemeyer took second (Shot Put) and third (Discus). Kennedy (100) and Grant (3,200) added a second place. Kennedy (Long Jump) also had a third place. LFCMC girls’ firsts: Kinley Soiney (100 > 13.74), Lillyan Kiehne (1,600 > 5:55.49), and the 4×100 team (53.62 > Aubrey Daniels, Soiney, Sari Rein, Bailey Erwin). The girls 4×400 (Hannah Vaalemoen, Sahara Morken, Brooklyn Simon, Kiehne) took second. Soiney (200) added a third place. Many LFCMC seniors did not compete due to class trips)
RPH Meet (RPH’s girls (75) girls took first over St. Charles (74.5) and Cotter (73.5) with RAACE also competing. The Tro-Cane boys (92) took second to St. Charles (111). RPH girls’ firsts: Aubry Boldt (100-hurdles > 16.46, Triple Jump > 33’7”), Ava Helgemoe (400 > 1.05.96), Lauren Honken (Pole Vault > 8’0”), Jorja Meyer (Discus > 99’9”). Boldt (Long Jump), A-Helgemoe (T-Jump), and Meyer (Shot Put) added a second. Vada Larson (1,600), the 4×200 (Boldt, Tayler Helgemoe, A-Helgemoe, Emily Helgemoe), and 4×400 (Lydia Pedretti, T-Helgemoe, A-Helgemoe, E-Helgemoe) took second. T-Helgemoe added a third (High Jump) and a fourth (Long Jump). RPH boys: Ryan Prinsen (800 > 2:07.41, 1,600 > 4:47.45, Pole Vault > 10’6”), Chace Drazkowski (Shot Put > 47’5”), and Matthew Hengel (Discus > 132’4”). Drazkowski (Discus) added a second. Quintin Betthauser (110-hurdles, 300-hurdles) had two seconds, both to defending section champ Chris Hilton of St. Charles. They went 1-2 at sections in each event last year.
