St. Mary’s Early Red Bird Invite (RPH competed alongside Melrose-Mindoro, Winona High, Lake City, Austin, Albert Lea, La Crosse-Logan, Cotter/Hope Lutheran, and Lyle/Pacelli at this indoor meet at St. Mary’s in Winona. Tro-Cane Aubry Boldt won the Long Jump (17’9 ½”) and the Triple Jump (36’3 ½”) competitions while taking second in the 55-meter hurdles. She set the program L-Jump record (breaking her own tie with Ashley Agrimson; 17’8”) while tying Danielle Lesser-Luhman’s program-best T-Jump mark. Quinn Potter (Pole Vault > 8’0”- tie) and Hunter Rislov (400 > 54.67) also took first. Lucas Redalen took first (Shot Put > 45’1 ½”) and fourth (Long Jump). Luther Indoor Invite (LFCMC’s girls (56) took first over Chatfield (38.5), Lewiston-Altura (14.5) and Caledonia/SG (13). L-A’s boys (44) topped Chatfield (37), LFCMC (24) and C/SG (6). Gopher firsts: Jaelyn LaPlante (55-meters > 7.79; High Jump > 4’10”- tie), Savannah Peterson (200 > 28.28; Long Jump > 15’7”), Lexi Kivimagi (1,600 > 5:45.49), Lillie Stejskal (400 > 1:07.34), Logan Pearson (200 > 24.89; L-Jump > 17’9”), and Keegan Patten (55-hurdles > 8.94). Kivimagi (800) and Pearson (55-meters) added second places. Rebeca Copeman (55-hurdles, Pole Vault) had two seconds. PEM Invite (Event was shortened by lightning. GMLOKS competed with PEM, Dover-Eyota, RACE, Cannon Falls, Zumbrota-Mazeppa, Triton, and Medford. GMLOKS firsts: Chantle Reiland (100 > 12.17), Nevaeh Shaw (High Jump > 4’10”), Amelia McCabe (Pole Vault > 8’6”), the girls 4×100 (Reiland, Lydia Redman, Brynlee Koenigs, Amelia McCabe > 52.61), 4×200 (Redman, Reiland, Keira Stier, Breeley Galle > 1:51.57) and 4×800 (Gretchen Hubka, Sadie Bustad, Emma Lewison, Grace Soltau > 11:27.02) teams, the boys 4×200 (Zach Reiland, Kaleb Yunker, Nathaniel Drees, Bently Wiersma > 1:36.13) and 4×800 (Gavin Hubka, Carter Glynn, Tate Goergen, Ashton Gehling > 9:09.43) teams. MSU Indoor Varsity Showcase (Select LFCMC athletes competed. Brody Niemeyer (Shot Put) took 4th of 53 but he set the LFCMC program-record with a throw of 52’1”. The previous mark was set by Mark Vanderplas in 1979 (51’0”). Autumn Rakosnik (1,600) took fourth of 38. Ava Jacobsen (High Jump) took 8th (of 28). Lillyan Kiehne (400) took 14th of 30)
