There was a time Chatfield and PEM played each other routinely in football. The last time it happened was 2012, as the Gophers won a “stepping stone” game over the Bulldogs 28-21. Chatfield junior pitcher Lexi Chase headlines the post-season softball award winners list. For a second time she is named Class AA All-State. It’s her fourth time to make that list overall (HM as an 8th grader, 2nd team as a frosh). Chatfield’s TRC-West champions, Section Final Four appearance, 19-6 season was largely on Chase’s right arm. Gopher Softball Claims 5th West Title
Earlier in the year, Chatfield softball pitchers Lexi Chase and Carlie Berge surrendered zero earned runs (one run period), over a three game span.
