Soccer (9/8 – 9/11)

September 22, 2025 by Paul Trende Leave a Comment

(G) Lake City 3, Caledonia/Houston/Spring Grove 4 (Down 1-0 at halftime and 2-0 early in the second half, the Warriors rallied with the next four goals. Siri Konkel scored on a penalty kick and then the tying goal came with an “own goal” off a Siri Konkel corner kick. The lead changed with a Loisah Gay score on a rebound of a Macy Kraus shot. Kraus soon added an insurance goal amid a scramble in the box. A late Lake City goal would not be enough to alter the outcome. Warrior Goalkeeper Alexis Qualy had 10 saves.)

(B) Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston 1, La Crescent/Hokah 5 (The Warrior goal came from Landon O’Heron during the first half.)

(G) La Crescent/Hokah 10, Cal/SG/Hou 0 (The Lancers scored five goals in each half. In goal, Qualy had 12 saves.)

(G) Cal/SG/Hou 2, Dover-Eyota 6 (The Warriors never led but tied the score twice in the first half on Siri Konkel goals, first with a penalty kick and later with an assist from Macy Kraus, which led to a 2-2 halftime count. The Eagles moved ahead for good five minutes into the second half. Goalkeeper Alexis Qualy was busy with a whopping 27 saves. Warriors > 0-5, 3-5)

(B) D-E 6, Cal/SG/Hou 0 (Cal/SG/Hou > 0-5, 0-6)
