Sandra Sampson (Culbertson), age 77, of Apple Valley, Minn., passed peacefully on September 28, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was proud to have raised her two children in her hometown of Lanesboro, Minn. She spent many years of retirement fishing, gardening and watching soaps. She was an active member at bingo, choir and enjoyed many creative arts activities in her communities.
Survived by sister Karen “Cookie” (Kermit), daughter Jessica, son Sean (Rose) and grandchildren Porter, Rhett and Mera.
Preceded in death by parents Albert Culbertson and Mildred Honsey, siblings Laurel “Lolly,” Allie, Albert “Lefty,” Kay, Robert “Butch,” and Connie; and nephew Allie Culbertson.
Celebration of life to be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Rosemount Steeple Center 14375 S Robert Trail Rosemount, MN 55068.

Karen,I am sending hugs to you in regards with the loss of your last sibling. You had such a nice family that I got to know through my classmate Lolly. I remember Lefty coming to get me in Rochester to attend your mom’s funeral. All my sympathy to you,Kermit and Sandy’s family.
