2023 Season: RPH’s boys took fourth at the Section 1A True Team Meet, the girls sixth. The boys took second at the TRC Meet and the girls third. Eight athletes qualified for state individually. Sydney Torgerson did so in the Shot Put and Discus, taking third in latter. Aubry Boldt did so in the Triple Jump and 100-meter hurdles, taking seventh and ninth respectively. Quintin Betthauser did so in both the 110-hurdles and 300-hurdles. Dalton Hoel (5th 800-meters) and Lauren Honken (10th Pole Vault) qualified in one solo event. Hoel, Tyler Betthasuer, Ryan Prinsen, and Matthew Sprague went with the 4×800. Hoel and Torgerson graduated.

Key Underclassmen: Boldt (So.), Ava Helgemoe (So), Vada Larson (Fr.), Emily Helgemoe (8th grader).
Kids to Watch: Boldt returns as a two-event individual state qualifier last year (7th Triple Jump, 9th 100-hurdles). She qualified for four events at least year’s 1A meet as a freshman (also Long Jump, 4×100). She is the reigning TRC 100-hurdles, Long Jump, and Triple Jump champ. Q-Betthauser is a two-event state qualifier (110-hurdles, 300-hurdles). Honken is a two-time Pole Vault state qualifier. Prinsen, T-Betthauser, and Sprague comprised three-fourths of last year state qualifying 4×800. They also won the TRC 4×800 title. Prinsen was a three-event 1A Meet qualifier (also 3,200, Pole Vault). He is the reigning TRC 1,600-meter champion. T-Betthauser (1,600, 4×400), Q-Betthauser (4×400), and Honken (4×400) also made sections in other events. Girls T-Helgemoe (4×100, 4×400), A- Helgemoe (4×100, 4×400, 400), E-Helgemoe (4×100, 4×400), and Larson (1,600) also competed at the 1A Meet. Boys Herek (300-hurdles, 110-hurdles), Gile (200), Wallace (4×400), and Wedl (4×400) did so.
