Dear Sandra and Family,
You and your family do not know me but I was a friend of your husband, Rod when he attended Waldorf College. We took organic chemestry together and our Professor said that the girls that were the most squeamish would end up being lab partners with the only two guys in the class. Well Jackie and I started a bunson burner on fire during a melting point experiment which needed a fire extinguisher to contain so guess who ended up with the two guys. Rod definetely made chemestry much more fun and interesting. I actually passed because of his help! So as your story of his life states he was a great guy and lots of fun.
I stumbled on his obituary quite by accident and shocked and saddened at his untimely passing. However I am so glad that he had such a lovely family and full exciting life. May you find comfort in his memory and support by your faith in God. God bless his memory and your family. I know his loss has left a void in your life that only time can help heal.

Dear Sandra and Family,
You do not know me but I knew your husband in college at Waldorf Jr. College. I stumbled on his obituary quite by accident and was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden death. Rod was my lab partner in chemestry because I was an idiot and he was smart so it was a dirctive from the teacher for the squimish girls to be placed with the two existing guys in class. After starting a bunson burner on fire doing melting points Jackie and I were assigned to the guys. I have to say he sure made chemestry more fun and interesting. He was a fun guy and I enjoyed his humor and his pretty blue eyes. I am so happy that he had such a wonderful life and family. Please accept my deepest condolences from and old friend, may God support you in the times that come and my your memories bring you comfort.
