Robert Pfremmer, age 77, of Spring Valley, Minn., passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Harmony, Minn.
Graveside service for Robert will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, Minn., with Rev. Loel Wessel officiating. Burial will follow.
Robert James Pfremmer was born September 10, 1940, in Lanesboro, Minn., the son of Murn and Helen (Ihns) Pfremmer. He attended and graduated from Harmony High School in 1957. Upon graduation, Bob enlisted in the United States Navy from 1958-1961. On May 31, 1974, he was united in marriage to Sherry Lawrence at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Aside from working around the farm, Bob loved to go fishing and hunting.
Robert is survived by his wife Sherry of Spring Valley; children, Larry Pfremmer of Miami, Okla., and Michelle Knutson of Rochester, Minn.; a stepson, Maynard Lawrence of Oakdale, Minn.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Fred (Lori) Pfremmer of Harmony, Minn., and Wayne (Gloria) Pfremmer of Harmony, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Richard.
