Richard Dean Sikkink, 61, passed away on January 26, 2022, in his home in Chester, Iowa.  He was husband to Pam Sikkink; they shared 40 years together.

He was born April, 1, 1960, in Ft. Riley, Kans., to Elton and Sharon (Bruggeman) Sikkink of Wykoff, Minn. He attended Wykoff Public School, from where he graduated from high school in 1978.  While in high school, he played football, basketball and was in the school band.

He hog farmed with his father Elton, drove school bus for Wykoff Public School, had a photography business and a daycare business throughout the years.

He enjoyed many hobbies including taking photos, spending time at Lake Mazaska, fishing, camping, and graphic designs.

Rick loved everyone.  He was a kind-hearted gentle man who tried to help others around him, seeing the good in everyone. He loved animals and was known for rescuing animals and taking in many strays. He was a proud and loving grandfather and thought the world of his grandchildren and family.
