Racks Bar & Grill
I happened to be in Spring Valley, Minn., over the lunch hour, and Racks Bar & Grill has always been a great place to dine.
This past Tuesday, I stopped by and ordered the daily lunch special. I just couldn’t say no to the beef brisket French dip with a choice of French fries or tater tots. The inner-child in me went with tater tots.
I originally sat inside the establishment, but then realized there was enough seating for 20 people outside on the patio. I always prefer outdoor dining, so I gravitated in that direction.
As with any daily special, it came out of the kitchen hot and fast. And, it didn’t disappoint.
The whole concept of a beef brisket combined with a French dip sandwich is pure carnivorous genius.
With mozzarella cheese melted atop the beef brisket and pickles on the side, this daily special was a winner.
Established in 2013 by the Tart family, Racks Bar & Grill has a great mix of items on their menu, including items like Mac ‘N’ Jack Cheese Bites and The Hangover burger (fried egg, crisp bacon, and American cheese).
Great food and service, Racks Bar & Grill is worth the visit.
