Patricia “Patty” Lois Kidd, age 76, of Sparta, Wisconsin, formerly of Wykoff, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Bridgepath Assisted Living in Sparta.
Patty was born in Lake City, Minnesota, to Donald and Lois (Klenke) Palmer and graduated from Lake City High School. She later raised her family in Wykoff, Minnesota, where she worked as a waitress at a local restaurant.
Patty cherished spending time outdoors and had a deep appreciation for nature. She enjoyed riding her horses on trail rides, sharing stories around the campfire, hunting, fishing, and tending to her flower gardens. When she wasn’t outside, she could often be found in the kitchen baking her treasured pies and bars or preparing meals for family and friends. Patty also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and needlepoint. Her children always treasured receiving one of her handmade creations.
She is survived by her children: Andi (Lawrence) Anderson, Bob (Carrie) Radke, and Shari (Larry) Gartner; stepson Tim (Bonnie) Kidd, her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Mary (Dan) Roper and Lynne (Gary) Watson, and good friend Harvey.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband Larry Kidd, her parents Donald and Lois Palmer, sisters Julie Palmer, Karen Moham Robinson and Kay Lynn Palmer; and her beloved dog.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patty’s life on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 3-5 p.m. at Shooters of Wykoff Bar, 113 Gold Street N, Wykoff, Minnesota. Prior to the celebration, Patty and Larry will be laid to rest together at 1 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, 715 US Hwy 52 N, Preston, Minnesota, with full military honors.
