Patricia “Pat” (Morgan) Hill, 80, of Rochester, Minn., passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with multiple terminal illnesses.
Pat was born January 17, 1944, in Madison, S. Dak., to Lloyd and Carol Morgan. She was a loving, devoted grandmother and friend, known for her love of Euchre, Cribbage, and Texas Hold ‘Em card playing, country music, and occasionally, karaoke.
She is survived by two sisters, Linda Sheridan and Susan Morgan of N. C., along with many nieces and nephews; her son Leonard Wood, daughter-in-law Jamie Johnson, daughter Jennifer Shumaker (Wood), and son-in-law Jim Kjeer; her grandchildren Chelsea, Alex, Dylan, Chase, Paige, Brett and Cole; and great-grandchildren, Cayden and Brooklyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dennis Morgan, her brother Henry Morgan, and her sister Nancy Nagel.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2025, in Lanesboro, Minn. More information to come. The family would like to thank the staff at Season’s Hospice for their compassionate care during Pat’s illness.
