On Monday, August 17, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Spring Valley Fire Department was dispatched by the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Department to extinguish a fire at the Spring Valley Campground located about two miles east of Spring Valley, Minn., on County Road 8. There was an outhouse on fire and three picnic tables had been set ablaze. A suspect has been identified as the arsonist.
