Mary (Jones) Geary, age 85, of Chouteau, Okla., passed away peacefully in her home with her family on Friday, May 30, 2025.
Born on November 27, 1939, to parents Paul and Eleanor Jones, Mary grew up in the Spring Valley, Minn., area, and eventually graduated from Spring Valley High School. Following graduation, she went to work at the Ability Building Center in Rochester, Minn., helping those with disabilities. She stayed with the organization for 43 years.
Upon retirement, Mary moved to Oklahoma to be close to her family.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Jay (Rhonda) Geary and David Geary, where both families still reside in Oklahoma. She has eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; all of them were the “love of her life!” She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her five siblings.
She also had an affection of collecting things and savored being with her friends, just enjoying life.
A celebration of life will be held September 20, 1-5:30 p.m. at the Ability Building Center, 1911 Northwest 14 Street, Rochester, Minn.
