Marilyn Joyce Liebold

Marilyn Liebold obituary, Fillmore County JOurnal

A memorial service for Marilyn Liebold will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley, Minn. Burial will take place following the service at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.

Marilyn Joyce Liebold, age 89, of Spring Valley, Minn., passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025. She was born on January 3, 1936, in Austin, Minn., to Floyd and Margaret (Dahlquist) Paulson.

On November 27, 1954, she was united in marriage to Charles W. Liebold. To this union five children were born: Jeff (Maria) Liebold, David (Mert) Liebold, Steven Liebold, Susan (Roger) Gilbert and Martin (Jamie) Liebold.

Marilyn loved baking, tending to her flowers and watching the birds, she loved all children and animals of any kind, and she especially loved her family.

She is survived by her husband Charles and her children David, Susan (Roger), and Martin; her daughter-in-law Maria Liebold, two sisters, Martha and Mary; a sister-in-law, Linda; many nieces and nephews, six grandchildren and their spouses, and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jeff and Steven; her daughter-in-law Mert, her son’s fiancé Jamie, her granddaughter Cassandra Faulhaber, her grandson Joseph Mlinar, and her brother Peter Paulson.

The love she had for us will always be with us and the love we have for her will always be with her. We love you mom and will miss you forever. Until we meet again.
