Marie Juliet (Johnson) Shefelbine, age 88 of Ottumwa, Iowa, and recently, of Roseville, Minn., passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025.
Marie was born March 11, 1937, in Holt Township, Minn., and raised with her siblings in Lanesboro, Minn.
She will be remembered for her fun-loving smile and quick wit. She farmed for many years, worked in a senior care center and loved antiquing.
She is preceded in death by her parents Benita and Clenard Johnson, brother Clenard “Bob” Johnson, and brother-in-law Ronald Lazer.
She is survived by her sisters Darlene Lazer and Beverly “Peg” (Roy) Carlson, along with several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn. Funeral arrangements by Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 651-487-2550, www.muellerbies.com.
