Lois Norma Anderson, age 60, of Apple Valley, Minn., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 4, 2022. She had recently been hospitalized at Fairview Ridges in Burnsville due to complications from cancer.

She attended schools in Dent, Minn., Riceville, Iowa, Spring Valley, Minn., and Verndale, Minn. After graduation from Verndale High School, she attended Minneapolis Vocational Technical School and received a certificate in bookkeeping. She was very involved in cancer and other health benefit activities, and she even convinced one of her brothers to walk in a Susan B Kommen three Day (60 mile) walk with her. She loved to bowl with her bowling team, and participated in league nights and state tournaments. She enjoyed baking and sharing recipes with her friends. She was a fan of the Minnesota Twins and liked attending home games.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Norma Anderson, and her sister-in-lawJanet (Swanson) Anderson.

She is survived by her siblings, Dr. Michael Anderson (Karen) of Plymouth, Mich., Joel David Anderson of Floyd, Virginia, Dan Anderson (Robyn) of Rochester, Minn., and Carol Weyrauch of Waconia, Minn. Lois is also survived by six nephews and nieces and eight grand-nephews and nieces, her bowling team, and many, many friends.

Lois was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Burnsville. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at the church, and the service will be livestreamed.
