Eight Spring Grove girls had kills as they closed the regular season with a straight-set, home win over LeRoy-Ostrander, 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-17). The Lions had almost twice as many kills (39 to 20) and more than twice as many service aces (10 to 4) as did the Cardinals. Spring Grove improved to 26-4 (12-2 SEC), while L-O will enter the playoffs at 10-17 (8-6 SEC).

On defense, Maggie Lile had 19 digs and Addyson McHugh 16. At the service line, Lile scored with 5 aces while Lydia Solum served 14 for 14 with a pair of aces. McHugh went 15 for 15 with an ace. Near the net, McHugh attacked with 14 kills and only two errors (a strong 48% efficiency).
Kenadee Gerard contributed 8 kills while Kylie Reynolds scored with 4 kills on only 5 attacks (80% efficiency).
The state-ranked No. 8 Lions enjoyed early leads in all three set: 8-2 in set one, 6-2 in set two and 5-1 in the finale. The Cards did put up a fight in the first set, down only 20-17 before SG took five of the final six points. The Lions led set three, only14-13, before separating with a 5-to-1 run.
The B-team closed the season at 13-1 with a dominating 2-0 decision (25-10, 25-11). The C-team completed a 10-2-1 campaign while controlling the Cardinals, 2-0 (25-12, 25-15)
