LACF and HACF announce Give to the Max Day competition

Fillmore County Journal - Lanesboro, MN

The Lanesboro Area Community Foundation and the Harmony Area Community Foundation have challenged each other in a friendly Give to the Max Day fundraising competition.  Let’s find out which community has the strongest support!  

All donations received by the two nonprofit organizations on Give to the Max Day, November 14, 2019, will be included in the competition.  The foundation that raises the highest amount will be treated to pie and ice cream by the other foundation.

In addition, Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation will donate 250 Early Childhood books to the community who raises the most.  The books are valued at $4,542.50!  What a great incentive!  Be sure to support your community on Give To The Max Day to help them win the challenge!

Ways to give, Harmony Area Community Foundation

•Donate online using debit or credit card at bit.do./harmony-community-fund

•Send check to HACF, P.O. Box 342, Harmony, Minn. 55939

Matching efforts will be available to HACF during this drive:

•$1 for each $3 given, up to $1,500, by First Southeast Bank of Harmony and Canton

•$1 for each $3 given, up to $1,500, by Harmony Enterprizes

Proceeds raised by HACF will fund the new splash pad (unless otherwise designated) proposed to be installed at the Trailhead Park!

•Donate online at smifoundation.org/lanesboro-area-community-foundation

•Send check to LACF, P.O. Box 370, Lanesboro, Minn. 55949

Donations to LACF, up to $1,500, will be matched by Walter Bradley.
