Where We Left Off in 2023: Kingsland boys went 3-7 in the SEC, 3-10 overall. The girls did not field a complete team. The Knights boys took sixth (of six) at the SEC Meet and were not complete at the 1A Meet. Gal Emily Sargent notably took fourth at the SEC Meet.
Outlook: Kingsland had just one All-SEC golfer last year, Emily Sargent (sophomore). She returns after taking fourth (SEC) and 14th (1A). Kayln Stier (sophomore) is second returnee, though they should field a full team with nine girls out. On the guys side, Ethan Carr (senior) is the top returnee. He tied for 13th (SEC) and took 20th (1A) last year. Jackson Aarsvold (sophomore) is a second big-meet returnee, as the boys have a five-man team.
