Judy Elizabeth (Kraft) Kuehn, of Rochester, Minn., who courageously battled cancer for two years, died Monday, January 25, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Methodist Campus in Rochester.
Judy was born in Oakland, Calif., on September 17, 1944, to Lawrence (deceased) and Verna (Nelson) Kraft. Judy graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1962, and married her high school sweetheart Dick Kuehn in 1965 at First English Lutheran Church in Spring Valley. Post high school Judy worked as a telephone operator and a dental assistant before becoming a stay at home mom. Judy loved to cook. She spent decades dedicated to a gourmet group who cooked food socially and philanthropically. Judy loved telling jokes, dancing, and boating on Lake Zumbro where she and Dick had a cabin for over 42 years. Her hobbies included decorating, sewing, traveling, volunteering (Festival of Trees for Hiawatha Homes and Mayowood Mansion) and spending quality time with her family and close friends and neighbors.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband Richard (Dick) Kuehn of 56 years, her two children, Jason Kuehn and Jacque (Kuehn) Arnold; son-in-law Bobby Arnold, four grandchildren: Haley Arnold, Vincent Arnold, Lucy Arnold, and Erick Foss; mother Verna (Nelson) Kraft, sister Debi (Kraft) Neville, brother Larry Kraft, sister-in-law Patty Kraft, brother-in-law Charles Kuehn, sister-in-law Vicki Kuehn, brother-in-law Jon Kuehn, sister-in-law Dana Kuehn, brother-in-law Tom Kuehn, sister-in-law Connie Kuehn, brother-in-law Mark Kuehn, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A walk-through visit for Judy will be held Saturday, January 30 from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Rochester Chapel. Social distancing and masks will be required at all times. Online condolences are welcome and may be placed at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
