Lee Klunder ran for 128 yards and 3 TDs with all three scores coming in the second half, and Axel Vix caught all three Houston completions for 103 yards and a score, as the ‘Canes topped Lanesboro to keep possession of the series’ “Bell.” Kaaleem Reiland ran for 140 yards and four TDs, Bently Wiersma added 157 yards rushing and two TDs, as Kingsland blanked Faribault B.A. 48-0. Kane Larson rushed for 167 yards and 4 TDs as Fillmore Central downed Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton 40-18. M-C volleyball (2-0, 7-0), ranked #4 in Class A, swept matches with L-O and Lanesboro. Gwen Rein had 28 assists and 5 aces versus the Cardinals. Rein had 38 assists, Kinley Soiney 19 kills, in the win over the Burros. Lanesboro’s Ellie Howard compiled 40 total digs in said loss and a win over Kingsland. Spring Grove (3-0, 3-0) notched sweeping wins over Glenville-Emmons and Schaeffer Academy. Hallie Hendrickson had 30 assists as Grand Meadow (2-0, 5-1) swept Kingsland.
